My stepmother thought that the life insurance would cover the cost of the funeral, but unfortunately, it did not, so we had to pay out of pocket for the funeral. Mary went right to the second most expensive package that they had. She never explained any of the other ones to us. We originally went with that package because we didn't know any better.

I have never dealt with someone as rude as her; this was a loved one of ours, and you have no sympathy whatsoever. They will charge you for merely putting an obituary of your loved one on their website that you wrote. If I knew then what I know now, I would NOT have allowed them to perform anything for my family. Mary did call my stepmother and apologized for making her upset but never apologized for being rude to my sister and I. She did ask who my sister and I were as well. She was told that we were his daughters from a previous marriage.
